I’ll be heading home to Ohio for a few weeks. For anyone interested, you can follow a page we’ve started for my dad’s recovery from surgery [here]. I’m more than thankful that he has one of the best surgeons in the world operating on him, and I’m looking forward to being at home with my family. All prayers / good omens / positive vibes sent his way are appreciated.
Below is one of my all-time favorite pictures of my parents. There are a lot of good ones, but I absolutely love this one. They were at a university function for Valentine’s Day, and when they told me ahead of time that Zippy would be taking pictures, I asked them to have this one taken. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result.
